BRUCE OSBORNE 1936 - 2006 Suddenly, after a brief battle with cancer Bruce passed away in the Grace Hospital on January 30, 2006 at the age of 70 years. Left to cherish his memory are his children, two sons, Bob and Jeff; one daughter Kim (Tim) Ryplanski; grandchildren, Kairee and Jonathan; one brother Don (Lois); one sister Madeline (Gordon) Farncombe and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents, two brothers and two sisters. A loving and dedicated father born and raised in Winnipeg, he made carpentry his career. After many years he left his mark on many of Winnipeg's most prominent structures and never did actually retire as most skilled tradesman can attest to. His greatest pleasure was his family, children and grandchildren. He took great pride in their accomplishments offering support, guidance whenever possible, most recently teaching his granddaughter Kairee how to drive (and Kairee he wanted you to know that he only yelled to let you know it was important). His cabin was his favourite place and the weekend visits will always remain special family memories. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 3 at 2:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Home. In keeping with Bruce's wishes cremation will follow the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to CancerCare, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
